- Lunches and Dinners must be arranged prior to arrival if guests are wanting to eat at La Rive.
- Security deposit of R3 000 per room per night required before check in. This can be used to cover extra’s otherwise will be refunded after guests check out.
- Between the 20th December and 10th January: No single room bookings will be accepted.

Directions from Cape Town:
- Take the N1 North from Cape Town
- Take the R44 Klapmuts / Wellington turn off (Exit 42)
- Turn right and go under the bridge
- At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn left to Franschhoek
- At the T junction turn right
- Carry on straight until you arrive in Franschhoek
- Take the first left after the BP garage into La Cottestr Street
- Take the 2nd right into Dirkie Uys Street.
- Go over the stop street.
- La Rive is at number 29 Dirkie Uys Street and it is the 2nd house on the left. It is the cream house with the thatch roof.
